Mabel Lozano, who lives in Spain, is a human rights documentary filmmaker focusing on increasing awareness and speaking against women trafficking. 

Marcela Loaiza is Colombian and was trafficked herself. She escaped and wrote the book ”What I Was and What I Am.” She is an activist and has a foundation in her name that supports women who have been trafficked. 

Tarana Burke was an inspiration who founded the “MeToo” movement. A survivor of sexual violence herself, Burke wanted to create a platform where women with similar experiences connect, feel safe and speak out. 

Dina Smailova was only twenty years old when a group of classmates raped her. She has supported and guided many women survivors of violence and has helped them win their sexual violence court cases.

Journalist Stephanie Sinclair founded "Too Young to Wed ." Her charity advocates against child marriages by amplifying victims' stories and voices on a global scale.
